WallMart Increase?

Is the "Request Increase" link always on the wally store card site or does it show up when it's time for some luv?

Always there.... You can get a CLI every four months, and they like to see some balances.

IIRC it's always there but I think better results are had by calling credit solutions directly

After using the card and PIF for the first 6 months I tried calling India Credit Solutions and was denied... then a month later they gave me a $100 (LOL) CLI... and even sent me a letter to notify me how proud they were to give me that $100 increase.

As with everything... YMMV. For whatever reason they haven't been nice to me... I guess I need to start carrying balances.

I don't think you have to literally carry a balance as in paying interest but they will not report w/o usage and from what I've read their new line for denials is you haven't used the card and that kind of makes sense when you think about it in those terms when asking for more credit

I made a $350 purchase that I took 3 months to pay off with a 0% deal... the next 4 months I charged around $100 a month and PIF... and charged $400 last month on another 0% deal... paid $100 and currently have a $300/$700 balance.

what is the best way to ask for an increase, and how much? for some reason they openned my card with 150 cl. crazy, i cant even pay my cell bill at wally with that.

That is a YMMV situation I guess wow

Barclay and GE are BK/CH friendly and one is showing luv while the other isn't based on the same TU info ...Strange I know but hang in there...

yeah, it seems so random sometimes. i wish they would just "black and white" some CLI guidelines and give us a clue on them. also my low starting CL might have had something to do with opening a ge lowes the day before. oops

It's all good. I don't lose sleep over it. I'm gardening till 2016 anyway... no apps and only CLI requests are those that SP.

I'm hoping for an increase in my Wally card too...I use it occasionally just for usage and typically pay it off immediately. I don't plan on growing this credit line anytime soon, but hopefully in the distant future it will become a decent line.
