I had this card for about 2 years, and Ive been stuck at $500. In the beginning I had high utilization and PIF every month but I stopped using it as my other cards have given me higher limits (discover $6000 and AMEX $10000). Is it possible to go from $500 to upwards of $10000, should I even request such an amount. My fico scores currently being reported around 750, and if I request lets say $11000 would chase counter offer? Thanks in advance.

My freedom, which started life as a $500 slate, was upped to $5700. I requested a cli online and the next day I went from $500 to $800. They also pulled two CB. I called em up and told them that was ridiculous as I had a CSP at $5700 at the time. I asked them to match it. They did.

Thanks in advance.

Chase would rather give you another card than a CLI on your current card, with a 10k limit on your AMEX, Chase will approve you for a CSP (AF waived for the first year), and then you spend $3000 and then they give you $400, you can then move some of the CL from the CSP to your freedom, after the first year is up, PC it to Chase Saphire card with no AP.

I went from $1k to $12k in 6 months, denied initially for the CLI but when the letter came I called into recon and they approved it for the full amount.
