Amex CLI confusion

Ok so I've looked through some threads but couldn't find exactly what I needed so I'll just ask it here. I was approved for my Amex SPG March 19th and 61 days later I received my 3x CLI. I'm aware I can try again for another 3x CLI 181 days from the day I received my first one, but here's my question. I got approved for my Amex Costco TE a week after I did my 3x for my SPG, so will I be able to get a 3x CLI for my TE card 61 days after I opened it or do I have to wait 181 days because of the fact that I just received a CLI on my other Amex? Thanks for any help in advance

You'll have to wait +180 days from your last CLI for all accounts.

That's not what the CSR told me. He told me that since it's a different account, the count is different. For example, if you have a BCE and a Hilton Honors, you can request a CLI on both 60 days after activation. I got excited after he said that and applied for a CLI on all my accounts. Needless to say, i got denied for ALL of them.

When I got my Amex HH in April, the CSR told me the same thing. Had a 3X CLI on Blue Sky late last December and just hit 61 days on HH today. Tried the CLI on HH, but system denied saying because of CLI in last 6 months on other accounts. Oh well, just a couple of more weeks and I'll try again.

My experience in dealign with CSRs the past 25 years is never listen to their advice.

1) They are not allowed to give you advice;

2) The advice may simply be a well-meaning opinion not fact;

3: Advice could be 100% wrong and dangerous;

4) For best result try "requesting" or "instructing" on specifics;

5) Be nice and friendly to them at all time;

Follow these five steps with your own DD research and you will achieve greater successes at everything related to CSRs.
