Help!!! Macys - UPDATE

Hello all

I have had the most stressful day. after applying for macys furniture line.. This is caused macys to freeze my revolving account and my bloomingdales account. I was told the fraud analytics department is going to contact me and send me a form to fill out in the mail.does anyone know what they are going to need??? Will it be a 4506t form? I don't want to lose my accounts as they were just opened.. Please help

UPDATE!! Just updating everyone....I spoke with 4 people yesterday and the 4th person i spoke to from Macys, provided me with the fraud analytics department. Thry were able to lift the hold on my account this morning. I went back into the store and was able to purchase the furniture!! Lesson learned. Thank you all for your help!

If they are all new they are making sure it's you. A lot of new cards in a short time raise red flags. It's for your own good they are making sure it's not identify theft. It shouldn't be a problem.

This hasn't happened to me, I have same cards but havent been thru this, Macy's is very iffy about identifying its cardholders I had to apply twice for macys card in order to get approved and once for bloomingdales.

I have had the cards and used them for the past 2 months. I am confused on what they will ask for

It's hard to say maybe copy of drivers licence or ID card, utilities bills etc. Each have different ways of proving identity.
