Flying Alaska Airlines with CSP Points

Hi all,

I do not have the CSP yet, but am considering it. The only drawback for me is that I tend to fly only Alaska as I live in Seattle. Is there a way to get the CSP points to Alaska indirectly? For example, transfer to Korean or another CSP partner and then from there transfer to Alaska or is that not an option? I know I could book Alaska through Korean Air, but ideally I could get these points to my Alaska account somehow.

The reason I would like to do this is to consolidate all of my miles into my Alaska account.

I think you can book thru BA/avios or korean skypass i believe. I am not sure how to transfer to non direct partners

I think you can book thru BA/avios or korean skypass i believe. I am not sure how to transfer to non direct partners

Are you saying I could book on AA with both AA miles and other's miles (BA/Avios/Korean)?

You can book AA flights using AA miles obviously or with BA avios as a partner award. AA and KE are not partners, so you can't uses KE miles for an AA award.

But your original question pertained to AS, which partners with AA, DL, BA, KE, et al. All of these currencies can be used to book AS flights as partner awards in the respective programs under those terms and conditions. You cannot "make" AS miles from UR period.

Let's see if i can explain this clear enough, transfer UR to BA. You can use BA miles to book alaska airline flights by calling British airways. The best way to see which ones you can book is by searching for the lowest level avilibility on aa.com and selecting award flight (remember only the lowest award space can be booked with avios)
