whats the highest limit you have ever requested on a cli?

Someone from the cap EO office called me yesterday cause of my FB message i sent them. In the message I said I wanted 6k hoping to get 5k. Then she asked me if that limit would do and I said actually I really need 10k lol or a 4x cli. I know I probably wont get anything but I was really hoping for more from my credit steps I only got a 1k CLI. I have read a lot of people got a lot more. So whats the highest increase you have ever requested?

I asked for a 14k CLI on my Amex revolver. They countered with $12,200. I was satisfied. Good luck on yours!

25K but that was with AmEx and not CO.

Credit and income vary (as well as any given creditor's underwriting criteria) so you can't rely on what others get to assess what you might get.

$5000 on a HP, after it was approved I thought...shoulda went for more! Good luck with yours, especially with Cap1.

The highest I've asked for (to date) on a CLI was a $10K CL on my Care Credit (was $2K before). They gave me $10200 total CL. ;-)

On November 1st, I'm going for my 2nd AMEX 3X CLI request; asking for $13500. You'll hear all about it if I succeed.

I asked for 10k limit increase on cap one recently when I was talking to the EO and the guy chuckeled and said what is a reasonable cli you would like so I said 5k and he gave it to me

i've asked for 20k CLI on Bank Of America, approved;

I've asked for 15k CLI on Navy Federal, approved;

These were both my highest self initiated CLI requests.

That's awesome! Yeah capital one didn't help me out that much but I got another 1k out of them I'll probably bug them in Nov cause that is when the two year mark hits sense my last late payment

When I ask for a CLI, I do it over the phone and never through the auto feature that most sites have.

Then I tell them that I like their product and would like to use it more, however with a lower CLI, it limits my utilization.

I also do all apps over the phone. I was getting solicitations from USAA for a while now that I was pre-selected for their World MC. I gave them a call finally yesterday and gave in. I was approved and she told me $6,000, I said to her I am looking for something at least $12,000. She put me on hold for five minutes and came back and said congratulations it's now $12,000. Hope that helps.

Lowes...started at 1k...asked for 10k...approved

AMEX...started at about 8k...asked for 20, CO with 18k ...took it!

Care Credit...started at 2500...asked for more via my dentists office (they thought I was springing for veneers!) got 20k. Left paying for a cleaning!

There might be more...might have to think about this one....

I just requested cli on my 2 cap 1 cards and one went from 4000 to 10,000 and the other went from 300 to 20,000!!!!

I've asked Synchrony for $25k on each of my cards. So far $18k is the highest they've gone.
