Error in AMEX CLI Request

So tonight I submitted a CLI for AMEX, with the intent of doing the 3X. Current CL is $1K. I accidentally requested $30K! Obviously I added in one too may zeros. What should I do? I'm fairly confident this will get rejected. I just don't want tohave to wait another 180 days.

You can resubmit or wait until they counter. If denied its 90 days not 180 days.

If they approve your 30x credit limit increase there will be a rush of people from myfico running to hit submit

Haha...that would be the greatest thing ever. So far I've heard nothing one way or the other. Will let you all know the outcome.

Requests for amounts over the 3X CL would get only up to the 3X CL, if approved.

Update: Requesting CLI > 3X no longer results in automatic denial. If the account is eligible for CLI, then new limit is counter offered keeping the 200% cap in effect(meaning CLI counter offered will not exceed 3X current limit under any scenario)
