Trouble with amex app help please

i just applied to amex everday and the blue bar keeps on spinning, idk what to do

You need to refill out the app. You only have 10 mins or so to fill it out before it will time-out. Next time move a bit quicker. I ran into the same issue when I applied. Good luck, and let us know your results!

How far did you get into the app process? Were you finished & sending the app to them? It might take a minute or 2 to send all the info.

Did you close out of the window or is it still spinning & sending?

all steps are finshed, left it open, did not close it.

as in like it's not loading after you submitted the app?

if that is the case just call them and if the app is not on file just do it with them over the phone.

way better to app over the phone.

a little wheel popped up in the middle of the screen wen i finshed the application. it keeps on spinning, if i apply again will it affect me?

i just called the status phone number and the robot said they could not find my application with my ss

Looks like you will need to reapply then. Also i would suggest clearing your cache on your internet browser.

i called and spoke to a live person, he said they could not find the app, therefore appling again will not hurt me. BUT , maybe that was a sign HAHAH, Maybe i shouldint apply for ame everday and go for barclays rewards. what do you think

I prefer the Everyday personally, the points rack up really fast especially if you get to the bonus monthly.

It's the card I use the most then the barclay like to eat out or something.

The Amex rewards site is easy and great too to redeem your points for travel as well as whatever else. It has everything there

barclay does have online shopping that you can rack up miles really fast some with like 10 miles per $1 spent etc...

both are good, but I say Amex

It's a sign that you should apply for the card you really want and not settle for second best. Go for the AMEX!

With Amex or any other issuer? Any other issuer any time you want. Amex, In your case, I would think one should wait maybe another 6 months. Don't always assume that you'll have the denial. You're letting it get too much into your head. If you really want the Amex, try for it.. If you don't and the fear of denial is too great right now then simply wait. Waiting never hurt anyone.

I think they say you can't at all after 60 days i believe For Amex cards

60 Days is accurate for a denial with Amex.
