Does chase ever let you initiate a CLI like Amex without a hp. If not how good are they with auto cli, quarterly, biannual, annual?

Hmm i don't remember if my chase was an auto or email sp cli when i got it back in january. I think it was after i got the signup bonus for the freedom. I was pleasantly surprised because i didn't expect it, knowing chases policy on sp cli usually.
