Amex question

I used to be an AU on someone's Amex account but removed myself (long story) in November. If I apply for an Amex now, will that be a soft pull? Or hard pull?

ive been reading as long as you have the Amex card it's a soft pull (if approved, then a hard)?

does that make sense???

Hard Pull.

For current amex members it's SP if denied, HP if approved.

It will be a hard pull since it is not your own account.

HP for approvals, and mostlikely SP for denial for current members (but not always...YMMV).

Very few CCs can be opened with SPs...mainly certain Comenity CCs offer this.

HP because you were under someone else's established amex account not your own. You would be considered a new member
