Thanks Discover!

Just wanted to post and say that I got a $5 gift card from them in my inbox today...the day after they gave me $1 off my Panera purchase through Discover Deals. Anyone else feel the love from Discover lately?

When I apped for it, I got it to complete my collection of the 3 rotating categories and start a relationship with Discover - I like the card, and the Discover deals are awesome (thought only Amex had those). They are seeing more love than I thought considering Q2 was home improvement (I live in an apartment), and Q3 is gas (Freedom is more valuable).

I Love Discover as well They were the first to offer me Credit and the fact they give me a Free FICO TU score. I also have gotten Free Gift cards twice for $5 a piece for Starbucks which I wasn't expecting

they sent me a $5 starbucks gift card a month after i got approved for their card. i had some friends who had discover long before me and they never got anything lol

Also received the $5 giftcard in my inbox today. Very nice gesture, especially after their pathetic $500 HP CLI :-/

Same here. I use Discover extensively and have yet to receive anything. I believe it has something to do with credit scores. I dunno

Didn't get my $5 certificate today, but did get one last month. A very nice little bonus from Discover - just wish I drank coffee or similar drinks.

Starbucks also offers pretty good food products like Cookies , cakes and etc

I haven't gotten a gift card from them this month, but I did get a Starbucks one a few weeks back. Still waiting on a cli from them though! They told me my utilization was too high, so I've got everything paid down and I'm waiting on the mid-cycle updates I requested. Their phone menu request still says "congratulations! you were approved for a $500 increase *overdrawn* you're new limit is $0. To accept this increase, press 1. Sorry we could not process your request at this time." This means I was denied according to the analyst I spoke with.

Nothing from Discover but I've been with them less than 5 months lol. My Barclays Rewards card did send me a $5 starbucks GC which was really awesome.

Well, I referred a friend to Discover - maybe that's why they are showing me some luv (and a $50 referral)... Haha, they also turned me down for a CLI so they don't luv me too much. Also, the offers are sent email so sometimes they might get caught up in the spam filter.

I just came across it yesterday in my inbox. It was a pleasant surprise

I was approved with a medical collection on my account for $500 and their highest apr for my first cc. I received a $5 gift card during their last round in like Feb I think.
