Well, I had a banner night. Got denied by India Credit Solutions on a CLI for my Walmart Discover(Talked to 3 different reps, including a Supervisor) and then I doubled down on the Craps Table and fell for the Pre Selected Barclays Scam on the Arrival. got the 7-10 Message, and then checked the status on their link and was 86'ed.

Of course their credit departement is closed tonight. 722 TU FICO score gets me a Denied T shirt LOL!!!

The Silver Lining in this, is that at least my friends here, will realize that Pre Selected at the Barclay's means nothing. Hopefully nobody here will risk a Hard Pull in the future. Many have helped me here on rebuilding, now at least I can pass some advice along to others.

Thanks for the info, sorry about the denial. Did Credit Solutions tell you why you were denied? I was approved by CS two months ago and ready to call them again and go for another increase!

Which Barclaycard were you applying for? Any other Barclaycards? How many inq and new accts?

Definitely recon Barclay. They are very good on recon call them from backdoor numbers.

I'm sorry about the denial op. I would 100% recon with Barclay's. However, just cause u have a 722 credit score does not mean you will automatically get approved. There are a lot of other factors than just a credit score.

No explanation, just the you will get a letter. The Reps at GE would not even small talk, just looked at their computer and basically tried to get me off the phone. Whatever

I screwed up. Went for the Arrival as I was Pre Selected with the Congrats message. 9 months history with 3 TL's and one Inquiry at Transunion. Walmart Discover is two months old

I would recon Barclay. One thing is the Baeclay is very inquiry sensitive. Also I would search the forums before applying. There is a thread regarding pre approvals from different companies. Barclay is mention in ther thread. I will not apply for anything unless I receive a congrats you prequalify but even that can't gaurantee that you will be approved. I hope you have a successful recon.

Hey Jerry sorry about the denial! Definitely recon barclays they are great. I'm guessing your a male with the name Jerry, here's a little advice when you call the backdoor number and a male rep answers hang up immediately and call back until you receive a female rep, just be real nice,and sincere I'm pretty sure you will be approved!!! In addition, if you are a female it's vice versa lol.

Like everyone else is saying, recon Barclays. I've have to get them to recon twice and was successful both times.

GE UWs have absolutely NO authority to approve. It's all computer based. They merely input data. So you are at a dead end there. Sorry. But, Barclays UWs can and will override computer. Both of my cards were recons. Just call and sweet talk them.
