I recently was approved for a NC State Employees Credit Union Credit Card.

I called them and found out that my Statement Date will be the 20th of each month and my Due Date will be the 15th of the following month.

I am attempting to work on raising my credit by carrying a 5-7% utilization at the Reporting Date and then pay it off and repeat subsequent months. Does anyone know what the REPORTING DATE is to report to the 3 credit bureas?

Thanks!

golfitup

Ok, so as long as I have the right utilization charged by the 20th, I can pay it entirely off and do it again lets say after the 1st of the month?

All my credit cards report the amount that is "billed" ie whats on your monthly statement to the CRAs. that means as long as i pay whatever amount that i want of my current balance before the "end" of billing cycle, they only report the left over amount to CRAs there to keep your % down pay your amount before the end of the cilling cycle.
