Was this in one increase?!?!

How long have you had the card ? did you request CLI online or by phone or was it automatic?

DH just for Gold Visa with BOA $5600 CL and added me as AU. This is his highest limit card but we'd like to request increase.

He's only had the card a couple of weeks and just used it once for small ($30) purchase.

I have had the card for about 6 statements, I put probably put $1-2K on the card over those months....

That was off of a request and not an auto right?

They have always been good to me with auto increase but not THAT good.

Yes, I had to call and request it.... My only issue right now is product change, Bofa isn't shining in that department!

There are a lot of good stories about BoA and product changes on this board from persistent people. I do think a lot of prime banks have tiers of cards that they don't disclose and therefore it is hard to move between those sometimes.

I tried for hours, it felt like, at least 5 different csr's, tons of different departments....

I almost switched to the Visa Signature, but I decided to stay with the PP so it would report the CL. Oh well!

I had the Emerging and I just logged into my account, been 5 months...
No more Emerging on my account.

Since the Emerging was gone I asked for $15000
Guess I'll see what happens.

Been charging it up and paying it off.
Though I'm an AU on a $20,000 account which may not get my increase since when I ask for a business card increase they say I have enough credit with them.

Wow, congrats. I started with the secured card, it became unsecured in November 2007, then it changed from Platinum Plus to Emerging... I have requested CLI once by phone, twice by the button and keep getting denied. I just checked and mine does not say emerging anymore either, so I think I'll try to give them a call. Did you use a backdoor number? Thanks!
