Amex Approval!

Finally, I am worthy of an amex! Just got approved for amex green. Question, at activation can I do a product change to the clear or am I pushing it?

Congrats! If you're good to Amex and play by their rules, they will be very good to you.

Congrats on the new Greenie!

The Green card is a charge card (PIF), while the Clear card is a credit card (revolving). Sorry to say Amex will not allow product change from a charge card to a credit card and vice versa, except very occasionally for cardholders with very long histories with them.

LOL! you guys are funny! I've read all the horror stories, but I'm cool, I don't plan on using it a whole lot, I just wanted to get it to prove to myself that I could. and to the other poster, they pull ex here in ct and it is my highest at 675 from last months score, don't know what it is this month though.
