Got the Dillards Amex Pop-Up, and only showed a $300 limit. I called to check if it would be a HP or SP, the CR said HP.

I explained I wasn't willing to take a HP for $300, and the CR said my actual limit would be $3000 if the information is confirmed. I guess the system is set up to show a low limit until final approval.

I don't think I will bother. I have enough cards already, and don't want to ruin my one week in the Garden LOL. I have to say , GE is very kind to me though.

Interesting... good to know for some who get the offer. Thanks for the info. When I got mine 4 months ago I only got $1k and it was a HP. 4 more days until my next statement cuts and I'm asking for an increase.
