Generic Question seeking Branded Answers

I havent been on here for a minute and need to catch up.

I have a 5K purchase for airline tickets in the next month and looking at what is the best card out there to open in terms of points value and benefits?

I know the cards below would be the most suggested but I already have them.

My first question would be I assume you hit min spend on all those cards already to get bonuses? It all comes down to how much you value points from particular programs i personally would use csp because i like the flexbibility UR points bring but its really up to you which points you value the most out of those cards.

Yeah I've met the spend. I'm inclined in opening a new card/s since I can def me it's spend rather quickly. I have in excess of 120K UR points as of today.

Why not bank another 10k UR toward flights. Thats more than 150 dollars toward airfare and you get 20% off

I thought if using the CSP to get extra 10K points that's most likely my last resort.

I have the chase freedom too.
In thinking of another hotel card or airline card- either Hyatt for its 2 free nights or united for explorer for the 50K Bonus it has right now. Thoughts?

The Hyatt card looks nice but Have you seen the IHG card? You get free nights annually which might be better long term if you stay at one of those hotels as well

Edit: Noticed in the fine print you also get free nights Annually as well. The Hyatt is nice if you go there more but the IHG is a cheaper AF with free nights as well

Yeah Noticed it after looking through the Card ... I never been to a Hyatt nor planning to so never looked at the card until Now .. looking through I just noticed it

No Not personally since I usually don't go to that group of hotels but it is a cheaper AF which might be good to look at

Me neither haven't been to Hyatt nor IHG- heck haven't stayed on Marriott or hilton neither I just have them due to the bonus they pay out. I'm an SPG guy but I don't have an SPG card.. Yet.

I have Stayed in a Holiday inn a few weeks ago since I was in Bridgeport and the only hotel in the area and it was pretty nice. $165 for the night including taxes and fees. They do have some nice hotels in the group though it seems

If you want to branch out (assuming you don't have these too!) have you considered SPG or MR Amex cards? Other than that, as others said, really how you value the points for progams that you have.

isn't the AF $395? Says so on the website or do they have another card other then Chases?
