So I was an AU in 1987 on my dads Amex. When I opened my new cards a few months ago my MSD showed 1994. That ws when I got my own card. I did Amex chat and told them I was an AU when I was 15 on my dads account. My dad still has his account & even has my old card. They said no problem & backdated it to 1987. So now Equifax (which I heard it does for everyone) reset my bithdate to 0. So I applied for a credit card from my local Credit Union(Kern Schools) a few days ago. My card was not instaly aproved & had to call in. Loan officer wanted to know how I had credit before I was 18? I told her I was AU on my dads account and Amex kept my MSD from 1987. She said the computer must of kicked it out over that. So after that I was approved. Has any one else ran into this problem?

Did you try calling Equifax?
