Getting denied for everything..

It was expected since I have 20+ inquiries on each report...Well, all the work has been frontloaded and will all fall off in 2 years and my accounts will age.

You have some good cards already and with the 20 inq , you need to spend some time in the garden imo. QS+ SM is an good combo that can cover an lot of purchases.

I usually just use whatever card has the highest cashback for that particular purchase. Is this a bad method since it might split up my rewards and will make it harder to high those minimum redeem limits (ie. minimum of $25 or $50 to redeem)? Garden for life now!!

I second everyone here. Just take a long break from applying for cards. I've tried to do so but couldn't help but get out of the garden recently. I think it's much easier to achieve when you have more of the cards that you actually want.

I went from 4 Cards. My Discover it , Amazon Store , Amex BCE and Chase amazon card to 14 after I hit 1 year with my Discover it card which is my oldest.

It's not necessarily a bad method, perse, since in the long run, you will get the most back if you are using whichever has the highest cashback.

And if you don't mind sharing, what have you applied for with 20+ on each report? How recent are these?

With that many inquiries if you keep pushing it you would risk getting AA on your current cards for aggressive credit seeking. The only thing you should really be doing is be in the garden. Otherwise you risk losing it all and having to wait two years to start over. Not to mention you will probably get denied your Amex CLIs if you keep apping. You have a nice foundation, better than many people, just work these cards and get your SP CLIs and you should be golden when the inqs drop off.

I've been apping for new cards as well as asking for CLI's even if they are HP's.... I stopped now haha

If you ever get tempted , freezing your reports may be an good idea, so you can't app or ask for any hp .

The Hard Inquiries will be less damaging after 6 months, and then after year they will not effect your credit score.. I think LOL

I hope these don't sound like stupid questions, but how exactly do you go about freezing your CR's? I've never done it. What kind of effects does it have other than not allowing you to apply for new credit? How do you go about unfreezing your CR's?

You can go to the websites of each of the credit bureaus and do it there or call them. Depending on which state you live in, you may have to pay something like 3 dollars to do it. It doesn't affect being able to get my Credit Karma score or anything like that.

Equifax: https://www.freeze.equifax.com/Freeze/jsp/SFF_PersonalIDInfo.jsp

Especially remember to write down the PIN each of the bureaus will you give you because you can also tempoarily unfreeze your reports with that or get a PIN that the creditors can use to get access to your report.
