"At Chase, we know you appreciate real value. That's why during the month of July, you'll get a $5 statement credit for each day you use your Chase Card - for a total of up to $155.

Earning a $5 credit is easy. Just make everyday purchases with your card. Use it for groceries, to fill your gas tank, school supplies, drug store purchases, clothing, going to the movies, catching a bite to eat at the local diner or going out to celebrate.

Remember, your savings are based on the number of days during July that you use the card, not the number of purchases you make in a day. For example, use your card for 20 days, and you'll earn $5 per day for a total $100 credit. Look for your July savings to appear as a credit on your statement."

Has anybody received a flier with this offer? Must be nice.

Another forum. It's hearsay at this point, that's why I was looking for confirmation. I'm assuming it only applies to a few people who are selected for it.

But you can bet I'll be running to my mailbox for the next week every afternoon after work!

I think those of us outside the "fico high achievers" buckey will not be receiving this offer. Psychic, I hope if you have a chase card you are included.

I had to run and check my online statements and email. The only goodie I have from them is asking me to sign up for paperless statements and save a tree. I did that last month.

If this is true, you can bet I will use my Chase Freedom every day in July.

That being said, I don't think it's true. They would lose way too much money. That has to by far eclipse the sum of the transaction fees they'll receive.

I have 2 Chase cards. Believe me, I will let everyone know if I receive this offer. You'd think that at least a few of our Chase cardholders would somehow qualify for the promotion, if Chase is indeed extending this offer.

I agree, Peas. I just found a reference to this on another forum, and if it is a hoax, someone went to an awful lot of trouble to design a flyer and everything.

Maybe it is real, after all. I'm sure if any of our members get it, they'll let us know.

I just called Chase Customer Service regarding a different matter. I also asked their rep about this $5 credit offer, and she knew nothing about it.

It looks real, but the picture is of the plain jane Chase Platinum card.

Maybe it's for that card only?

The only problem that I'm having so far is that after looking at the flyer, I noticed that the dates shown in that July calendar are erroneous. The flyer shows Tuesday the 3rd, rather than Tuesday the 1st, etc.

Interesting point, psychic. I tend to think that the "calendar" in the flyer is just for illustration pusrposes and not meant to be looked at that closely. It seems to me they're just trying to emphasize the point that you can earn the bonus by using your card each day on the calendar.
