Which credit cards give you free FICOs?

I want to say that my new Barclay card gives a free TU FICO. Any others that give you a FICO?

Discover and Walmart cards both provide a TU Fico - the same one that Barclays provides.

DCU visa provides a free EQ Fico score I think? And PSECU visa provides a free Experian Fico. I've noticed that PenFed is now providing a free Fico, but I don't know which version.

cap one is definately an fako i think they use same service as CK , because numbers usually match up exactly for me.

This is what I know of: (all real FICO with the ® displayed)

Experian:

First National Bank of Omaha (FICO® 8 Ex08 Bankcard Score)

Transunion:

Discover, Barclay, Walmart

Equifax:

DCU

US Bank gives Experian.

EDIT: Experian PLUS score directly from the Experian website--not FICO.

Fako. This is what it says:

The PLUS Score, with scores ranging from 330 to 830, is a user-friendly credit score model developed by Experian to help you see and understand how lenders view your credit worthiness. It is not used by lenders, but it is indicative of your overall credit risk. Higher scores represent a greater likelihood that you´ll pay back your debts so you are viewed as being a lower credit risk to lenders. A lower score indicates to lenders that you may be a higher credit risk.

There are three different major credit reporting agencies, Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax that maintain a record of your credit history known as your credit file. Your Credit Score is based on the information in your credit file at the time it is requested. Your credit file information can vary from agency to agency because some lenders report your credit history to only one or two of the agencies. So your credit score can vary if the information they have on file for you is different. And since the information in your file can change over time, your Credit Score may be different from day-to-day.

Lenders and insurers use several different credit scoring models so don't be surprised if your lender gives you a score that´s different from the PLUS Score you receive online. Just remember that your associated risk level is generally the same even if the number is not. If the lender´s score is lower than your online score, it is possible that this difference can lead to higher interest rates and sometimes credit denial.

Yeah, my mistake. After double checking, it's the Experian PLUS score.

Fair warning on the Cash+. If you don't qualify for the Cash+, they auto consider you for a worse card (Cash Rewards). Before applying, I would ensure you have several cards with limits over $5k to have a better chance at qualifying. US Bank seems a bit more conservative from my experience.

I also get my credit score through Alliant Credit Union; however, I'm not sure exactly how to read it. It provides me with my "vantage 2.0 and vantage 3.0" scores. My 2.0 is about 50 pts higher than the 3.0. Here is what it says:

As an exclusive benefit to Alliant members, we're making your credit score available to you for free to help you monitor and improve your creditworthiness.

There are many different scoring systems with different scales; a "good" credit score depends on the scoring system. The credit score displayed here is VantageScore®. It was developed by the three national credit reporting companies (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion). Unlike other scoring models, the VantageScore® uses one set of calculations for all three bureaus, resulting in a more uniform and consistent score. This model weighs your payment history, credit utilization, outstanding balances, depth of credit, recent credit, and available credit to calculate your credit score.

We will update your credit score quarterly. This is not a hard pull and will not impact your credit rating. Alliant uses a different scoring model for lending.

I beleive they use EQ for CC , i also have an account with Alliant. If i recall correctly they pulled EQ when i opened checking account.

Where are you finding this Fako for US Bank? Im not seeing it anywhere on my acct page.

Once I log in with my cc, in the left hand side there is an area that says "take action". It's the 4th option down. It's by where it says pay my account.
