New York Life Visa

Anyone app or have one of these? I just applied and the site said I'll receive a notice in 2-4 weeks. I'm not sure if this is normal or what? They said they pulled EX and mine is at 709 with no baddies so i'm hoping for the best. I do have about 5 inquirires recently though.

Comes with Free EX Fico Score as well

I don't have one myself, but that's the general response FNBO gives for applications. They may call you if they have any questions, but it's not necessarily a bad sign.

I'll keep you guys posted, the lady I spoke to yesterday said they pulled just Equifax and today I called and double checked and a different lady said they pulled Experian so who knows. Experian makes the most sense seeing as how they offer the EX FICO Score.

They pull EX and as far as I have known, they ONLY pull EX and yes that makes sense since they give the Fico Ex... ugh untrained reps.

They pull Equifax for their FNBO Direct credit card. I had it frozen and when I rang in to give the PIN the woman just said to make it easier she could pull another bureau so she pulled TransUnion instead.

Discover tells us the TU FICO score yet I think they pulled my EX and EQ for my Chrome app a few months ago. Also pulled TU for my Discover it card and CLI's

Just received an alert that they pulled Experian, luckily i have no collections and my score is above 700.

Declined, too many inquiries, the lady was pretty nice about it and told me to try again in 2-3 months.

Sorry to hear about the decline. FNBO is great so consider them again. They like to give CLI's. I have two of their cards.

unless you get pre-approved they seem to be about impossible to get approved with!

If your just trying to get a regular Experian Fico, the Swagbucks card seems much easier to get. It's through the same bank. My score is like 684 with some inq's and I got approved for $1000. I don't even use Swagbucks, but I'll take my free Experian FICO.. Thank you! lol

Can you provide more info? How many inquiries did you have? Was your approval instant? How do you recieve the rewards? Which CRA did they pull?

OK, I went for Swagbucks. Got a 2 to 4 week message as expected. We'll see what happens. If they approve me it would round out all three FICO scores. I have no idea what I would use it for, but an EX FICO would definately make it worth it to carry!

Crap I just got a FNBO Amex pre-approval in the mail last week and tossed it in the garbage. BTW it looks like unless you live in their footprint or get a pre-approval you cannot get any of their products.

Oh well, I'm allegedly in the garden so it'll have to wait
