Good Ol' Cap One EO Waiting game

So finally I have a paystub to try and demand a real CL from Capital One. I've always PIF cause the limit is so small and finally asked for a 1k increase. I also tried to product change but they only were willing to give me the Quicksilver One. I don't pay an annual fee on my discover, so I'm hoping they might do better after a full year comes around on the card (February).

They told me now the policy is not to call them but rather they'll call you with updates (cause she never did before). I'm hoping this week I'll actually get the increase...

Good luck! I'm guessing you'll get $500 based on my experience with Cap1 and the EO. I finally closed both my Cap1 cards because it just wasnt worth it anymore for me. Maybe you willl see some better results!

Be patient. I was granted a $700 via EO a couple of months ago. It was less than I requested, but an CLI none the less. I also got an upgrade from Platinum to Quicksilver and an APR reduction. So, there is hope with Capital One!

My income is now 10x the amount it was at the original time I was approved. The QS1 offer was a good start but I want a CLI now and then an offer for hte QS by Jan 2015 to keep this card. Nothing as of yet..

Sorry for the double post but still waiting. I was told 5-7 business days and it's now been 6....I don't understand the hold-up. Has anyone else experienced this?

Welcome to CapOne... The card that doesn't grow with you. Mine are 1 year old and will be closed at their 2nd birthday for optimum FICO scoring. I have no doubt they'll still be my oldest and lowest limit major CC.

I asked for 1k....500 would still be better. They seem to be taking their merry time and I don't get what could be taking so long for such a small amount...
