BofA secured and reward program?

Hi everyone,

I have the secured card from BofA since May and I have read online that people succeed to add the 1-2-3 rewards on it.

It doesn't exist anymore so the rep asked me to choose betweem Better Balance, Travel Rewards and Cash Rewards. (2 weeks ago)

Like other people on here (at the time of the 123 rewards) told me to wait between 2 to 4 weeks.

I found it hard to believe plus a rep at the branch who called the a CC specialist told me basically I will never receive the card with the new program on it.

I had that card for a few months so I am far away from gradutation.

Any thoughts?

I converted my regular secured to a 123 rewards not 2 weeks ago. Was maybe a 5 minute phone call to the secured card department. Lady told me 5-7 weeks for the new card to show up though.

Just tell them you want to convert it to cash rewards. Guess they changed the name. It can be done.

+1 baller4life is right. It's the cash rewards card. I have the card....it's the new name for the 1-2-3 card.

You can even do a secured chat and ask to change to the Cash Rewards. I got my new card in 4 weeks.

Isn't 1-2-3 referring to Cash Rewards in the first place (3% on gas, 2% on grocery, 1% everything else)?

Yes, maybe they called 123 Rewards before and now is Cash Rewards, the same program, same rewards.
