I agree. I have two TYP cards. I did a PC change for one to some Legacy cash back card that I managed to get. I looked at the other cards they currently have to see about doing a PC change for the second TYP card and I just don't see anything that's appealing. I wouldn't qualify for any of the bonuses since it'd be a PC, and none of the rewards seem like anything I'd want. Their card selection is, by far, inferior to what other creditors are offering.

Citi (from every conversation I've had with them) will not move limits around via PC. I have two with them; one being the Diamond Preferred (ugh) which will likely never see the light of day - but, its a pretty card amongst all the other sock drawer cards..

I'm hoping perhaps at some point they will A) create a decent all around spend card and B) allow customers to reallocate credit lines. I live in a hopeful world

The Dividend isn't a bad card - the categories don't usually overlap with the Freedom/IT and the cap is 300/year (in cashback) instead of the 1,500 spend a quarter, making it (potentially) more useful.

I have a crappy Forward college card that the only good rewards that are on it is the ability to lower my already high interest rate on it by paying on time and the TY points. Other than that, it's really lame and I mainly have it open cause it's my oldest card and I'm probably PCing to a Dividend card after this September.

I receved the Citi Prestige card in the mail today. Unfortunately, it's not the new card design that has been floating around. However, overall I am excited about the card. I travel alot so I am looking to take advantage of the $250 airline credit coupled with $100.00 global entry credit to offset the annual fee.

And too, I currently have access to United clubs and I am now looking forward to gaining access to American clubs. I will also be bookig the companion ticket before the perk expires on 10/18.

Citi is a bit strange in this regard. They seem to know what reallocation means if a new app depends on it to get the approval, but when you ask about it for closing a card they act like they've never heard the word before. I've been dealing with Citi so much lately, when I called to close my Chase United card the other day, the very first person I spoke to offered to reallocate without me even mentioning it, and I couldn't believe the conversation was over in 3 minutes. At least Citi is good about getting sign up bonuses more than once

As far as Citi offerings go, I recently got the Prestige, because with the upcoming changes, the timing is perfect right now. Changes come mid October, so...

- 350 AF (annual fee only 350 when app in branch)

+ 60k TY points offer (30k after 3k spend in 3 months, 30k more points after 15k spend in a year)

+ Apping now will get you a companion ticket before it goes away, I added my DW and we have both used ours already

+ Airline credit (currently 200, will move to 250 applicable to airfare also in October) which recycles in December. So, $250 credit now and additional $250 credit in December.

So, even if it's only for a year, the card costs $350, and you get 60k points (worth $920 bucks to AA/US Air), companion ticket (could be worth a few hundred for domestic or much more if international), and $500 in airfare credits. This doesn't include other card perks like Admirals Club access, Priority Pass for primary and all AUs, etc. Worth it for me.
