Did the pre-qual just to see what would happen, after putting in the last 4 of my social this is what i got....

The no annual fee Discover it® chrome for Students Card is ready to reward you now and down the road.

is this a walk the plank situation? or should i get the instant approval?

Try it again but use a totally made up name and random social numbers and you will likely end up with the same result Unfortunately Discovers "personalized offers" are not at all reliable. I would probably trust a mail offer but not the website. Good luck!

It is! lol I appreciate the information given here because otherwise I wouldnt have known not to trust it
