Walmart Page Update

Been periodically checking my Walmart account to see when the MC change takes place and noticed now I have 3 Walmart cards showing. My original store card that's been closed, and two discover cards that now say Walmart Mastercard above them. The page is now different with the new reward structure but everything else is the same. Looks eerily like a new TL....

Same here

I got walmart credit card, CL $1300 (my closed account)

and two walmart mastercards with $3500. Maybe my new walmart mastercard will have a 7k limit then XD lolololol

Haha that would be nice! My fourth statement on my Discover cuts next Tuesday. I hope I can at least get that CLI before they completely switch over.

Anyone elses Walmart Account update change showing 2 Mastercard accounts?

I have 2 Mastercard accounts showing now both with same balance and limit.

Account number is different on 1, but other same last 4 as my Discover.

Just curious. And does this mean the Discover is still good or not?

Same here. I'm worried this will be a new tradeline which I do NOT want.

Unless its just assigning new account numbers and the 2 will merge. (Discover/MC) into a single account changing only the account number. This way we can still use the Discover until the new MC comes. I least I hope thats it.

No change on CR yet, and they are usually really fast at reporting.

I'm with you on the whole not wanting a new TL thing, especially since I already have a closed store card they upgraded with only 8 months of history showing. If they were to start a new TL again I'd have another closed Walmart card showing but only with 4 months history. Got my fingers crossed on this one. Mine should report on the 25th so we will see what happens then.

My walmart page is now showing 2 master cards with different numbers........what does the 2 MC mean ? Will I get 2 walmart MC or what.......the CL and balances are the same on both

GE officially switched to Synchrony Bank yesterday 8/22. They will start sending out the new Walmart Mastercards on Sept 1rst. You can hold onto the WM Discover thru the end of October. Once you receive the new Mastercard you can use it right away if you want.

Various Sam's Club Members here got their new cards already, and said there was no problem, and no new tradeline. So I think we are OK

Mine has the closed store card and the Discover has been replaced with the Mastercard on login. I never had a new TL when my Sam's converted.

As far as the two numbers, at least in my case, one of them is the same as my current Discover card number. I assume the other one is the new MasterCard number.

If we don't get a new TL then we are golden. I don't know how my AAOA will react to yet another new one. Thanks Cold for the info it comforts me a little knowing your Sams card didn't result in a new TL. I can only assume the Walmart card will follow suit

Like I said. The Mastercard will be sent out on 9/1. You can use your existing discover until your start using the MC

Mine showed my store card and two mastercards yesterday. It's down to just my store card and the mastercard today. I just activated my walmart discover and yesterday it said my mastercard has shipped and to activate it when it arrives. My sams club mastercard came two days prior. The numbers aren't embossed but it does have the emv chip on it.

This makes it look like we will have the same TL, a very good sight just seeing two cards there instead of three.

My WM page is Fixed now too showing only the old closed Store card and the New MC with its new acct number.

But, I got a message from Barclay today my credit score changed, and it dropped.

Currently, its only happened on only on TU, but its now reporting 2 Walmart Discover cards.

One with the MC account number, and its reporting this months balance (Just closed a couple days ago)

and a 2nd tradeline with the old Discover account number (It still shows last months balances).

This caused my utilization to raise, plus a second account at 6 months or.

Any one else have a similar showing on thier reports? Or did have and it got fixed?
