Amex has terrible customer service.

Got approved for delta.

Wanted to PC to BCE was told I couldn't but the agent said I was pre approved for it in their system and I wouldn't have to hard pull since my report is recent. She says I'll be receiving my card this week.

Turns out I wasn't even approved. And I got an inquiry.

Fast forward a week later. I thought I'd try again and get someone who's nice. He puts in the application for the PC. He I specifically said I hope you didn't have me apply for the new card. He says no sir. I look up app status online. A new app is there.

I can't stand Amex and hate these outsourced calls.

Is there an EO I can call?

They're making me look desperate when all I wanted was a PC!

Sorry for the experience. But, you can't PC anymore. You must wait a year now.

Yeah I learned that when I spoke to a competent CSR. I didn't know this before though.

I'm so upset. They manipulated me.

Yes the outsourced people you do with at Amex are horrible in my experience. Its really a shame when they are the first people a new customer of amex may deal with.

Yes the outsourced people you do with at Amex are horrible in my experience. Its really a shame when they are the first people a new customer of amex may deal with.

The person I talked to a few weeks ago about my charge card and why the spending limit button had stopped working after 2 times was really nice and willing to help and the online service has been pretty great too most of the time.

This close to closing the card.

I really wanna dispute the 2 extra INQ I received from this.

I filed a formal complaint but who know where that will go.

If I didn't want an AMEX card I'd close it.

I'm getting a second job soon and I know I can get better Chi with my higher salary. But it's almost not worth this.

Do you use any credit monitoring services to verify the HPs?

Are you sure you actually have 2 inq? Amex SP denials and HP approvals.

Just because it was an app I wouldn't count on there actually being an inq.

Yes I do.

I monitor my credit every 3 days.

Just checked yesterday and there's 2 inquiries total I'm sure there will be another there now
