Gecrb- synchrony?luv buttons question.

I have 2 gecrb or synch whatever cards. 1 Wally. And 1 pay pal master card. (Smart connect) yuk!! I hit the luv button after 2 months and now got my 4th statement. Still no cli.

Question. Did that reset the 4 month click for cli or do I have to just wait for auto cli and start counting from there. They both are in deepest corner of sd now because of not showing luv. Carried balance on Wally. Then pif last month. Still have 200 balance on smart connect. Do t get it. Ooh well. No more use until. Get cli. I won't ask either. Starvation diet for the two. Thanks all.

I called 2 weeks ago. They said no. But was still at 3,.5 months. I'm not desperate. So I just don't understand. My brother got cli. His util is at 70 percent. I'm at overall 12%. Triyng to get under 5%. Ooh well will wait 1 more month to be sure. Last time they asked if I was in store. Should I gave Luddite? I said no. I'm home.

Don't feel bad. Long story short, I've had my Walmart card since June 2013 and absolutely NO CLI from them of any kind!!! However, my JCPenney card (which was opened on the same day), has shown me major luv via the luv button. I don't get GE/Synchrony. Right now Comenity & Citi are winning in my book for store cards.

It is a strange beast, to try and get a CLI from Sync/Wmart. Who knows wha the right formula is.

That is ridiculous! 14 months and not one CLI from Walmart? What did India Solutions have to say about that?

Boy oh boy, (soon formerly gecrb) Synchrony. No one is been able to figure them out yet except the after 4 month statement cut is reliable for most. I want to PIF my walmart store card but it took leaving a nice balance on it before they CLI larger then a measly $100 they did on my last try, ($600 this time). So if it makes them happy i'm parking a balance this 4 month period.

That's nonsense. I left balance 3 months in a row. Now luv. They reported on 1 st every month. Now. Last week. 4th statement due. I paid in full. Now I don't have statement when I don't owe anything. It's all good. They are going to stay in the dungeon. Eventually. Someone will say. What's up. Did he give up on us. My anwser. Yes.

The 4th statement determines eligibility, but it's not a guarantee. It look 6 statements for my Wally to give an initial CLI and 9 statements for Amazon to follow suit. Each CC has its own UW standards.

Taxi, you can get a balance(Positive) and a statement by overpaying in store. Last two statements were generated by paying $1 over my due amount

I have only had my cc for about a month. I am not plan on PIF. I will most likely ask for a CLI in Nov before Black Friday. I hope that works. I will only have had the cc for 3 months. I will continue to make a purchase on the cc every month. Let's see if that helps get me a CLI.

Yes it is a sp. when they start. they are very generous. but ive had my card exactly 4 months. but only got 3 statements. because i paid in full. so i wil see.

Denied 2 times already. did not know about 4 month rule.

Seriously? I would have said none of your business I left grade school years ago

I would wait 30 days from your last request to call Credit Solutions again. I managed to get some decent limits with negligible utilization - and they never asked for a reason why? Only Chase and Discover asked me what I was using a CLI for.

No. they do not frown on it. Did it twice, and just got a $1500 Auto increase when I logged in this morning
