List of World Elite MasterCards

I haven't noticed a list of WEMCs so I'm creating this thread to list the ones I have found w/ annual fees. I know there are some out there like Morgan Stanley but you must be an investment client, I'm only considering ones that the general public can apply for or upgrade to. If you know of any, reply and I'll update this OP.

* Bank of America Virgin Atlantic WEMC - $90 - (Sharingan)

Upgrades:

* Citi Dividend - $0? - Call for upgrade (trumpet-205)

* Citi ThankYou Premier - $0? - Call for upgrade (trumpet-205)

* Citi Double Cash - $0 - I received upgrade after replacement, added DW as an AU and she also received WEMC version.

* Capital One QS - $0 - Targeted Offers only (confirmed by mxp114) ** For those self-entitled folks, please resist contacting their EO demanding an upgrade.

Capital One BuyPower CC is not a triple pull candidate. It's a single pull on EQ

What is the difference between World Elite and World Mastercard?

Answerd my own question... Next question, if I PC my WMC to this, can I transfer the points to my other card for cashback instead of GM crap?

Dividend, ThankYou Preferred, and ThankYou Premier all have WEMC version. You simply call Citi to convert.

I can transfer points between my Capital One QS and my Cap1 WMC. Do you know if Cap1 will allow points transfer with the WEMC?

Although has to be the WORST rewards program I have ever heard of. Plus encourages folks to carry a balance by giving points on accrued interest! LOL

Not to mention their point value is horrible.

My dad and I both had our Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select cards upgraded to WEMC automatically (probably because we put a lot on them to get a 50k mileage bonus).

Wow, that's a new one, rewards on interest. Although I guess technically that is somewhat of a discount on interest if the points are actually worth a penny (i.e. you'd get 3% off of the interest), which isn't horrible if you need to carry the balance anyway.

To clarify the question, you are asking whether "points" on the GM BuyPower Card, the 5% on $5k spend annually plus 2%, can be transferred from that WEMC to a regular Capital One credit card that is WMC?

I don't have the BuyPower card, but I doubt that type of transfer would work. The BuyPower is Co-branded, and as a general rule the brand points usually stay with that brand.

I have the Citi DC WEMC too. I believe -Cal- obtained the Citi Double Cash WEMC (a reissue of a compromised account) way after the original list was published. Most individuals started getting the WEMCs issued as early as this year but it was not available during 2014.
