Citi Double Cash

Well Im back! Been lurking a long time but haven't posted or apped in over a year! Maybe it is time! I love getting cash back and always want to maximize my rewards. So, I am considering the Citi Double Cash and maybe shortly, the BackAmericard Cash Rewards. Anyway, the Double Cash seems like a great deal! 2% back on everything! I am wondering if anyone has this card and what people think of it. Anything catch or somethin that I am missing? If all seems well, I may app tonight!

I only know of one user that even has a physical card right now. Will probably be a couple of months before we truely know what it's all about.

At lease it will replace Arrival+ and Fidelity Amex.

A couple of us guinea pigged and apped the first day (myself included). Still waiting on the card in the mail. So far only received a letter saying it should be coming shortly. Hopefully tomorrow.

Go for it! (I'm a bad influence lol). But if you do there is another thread floating around with approval limits and aprs. We are trying to figure out what it takes to get the prime rate and decent credit limits.

Had an interesting discussion with Citi EO office today. I'm told to expect a call Monday on doing the PC to this new DC. Not sure exactly how i ended up connected to the EO office but that's where my regular call was transferred to when i put my request forward. Since they (not me) escalated this thing over the PC request it behooves me to make a futher attempt at an interest rate reduction too if i can

I have had such a rewarding experience with Citi since day one. Appreciate highly their SP for CLI's without having to haggle with a recon + HP every time that most prime lenders demand of their customers.

A very happy n satisfied CC customer with Citi.

While I'm satisfied with my interactions so far with their analysts, I'm wondering if the card is ever actually going to show up.

The reason they are caaling you Monday is because that is the first official day that people can PC to the DC. I definitely would as for a interest rate reduction. That is how my Citi Dividend WEMC card went from years ago 19.99 to 10.24%

Good luck, and if you're not satisfied with your initial limit call them after you receive the last 4 digits via e-mail and you can request a CLI at that point.

Mine was a hard on EQ.

$3,300 at 22.99%. Ehhhhhh, thats ok. I can deal with it though for the 2% back! Hope it is what it's cracked up to be! I'll keep everyone updated as I learn more myself.

It would be nice if they expedited like other lenders do. Call and demand they Hurry It Up Please!

Has anyone who apped for this card (that was already a citi customer) seen their account popup in their online portal? I apped over a week ago and still haven't seen it pop up online yet.

Nope, hasn't popped with my other Citi accounts either. I figured at activation it could be linked. They said card should arrive in a week so probably tomorrow or early next week. I keep forgetting Monday was a holiday.

My DC acount hasn't shown up on my citi page yet, and I'm not sure it will until you link the new card. To do that you need the entire account #. The "link a another account" button is on the top right of the page.
