Chase Platinum Pre-Approval Question

Just received my first pre-approval from Chase in the mail yesterday. 0% on new purchases and BT's until Oct.2009 and then 7.99% fixed rate afterwards. Who does Chase pull and what scores are needed? Last I checked my scores are EQ 680, EX 644, TU 642

Chase pulls all over. Chase has about a million cards, too.

Chase pulled EQ for me im in the South!!! GL they have alot of great cards!!!! I love them!!! no complaints! thus far

Chase pulled ex for me. App is still pending after 9 days.....

They pulled Eq for me and I was denied.

Then I called the backdoor number, was approved after reconsideration. During the reconsideration process they pulled TU.

Thanks. I am in Texas, maybe they will pull my EQ. Should a 680 be high enough to get approved?

Chase pulls seemingly at random. I live in VA, and they have pulled EQ for all my apps and CLI requests.

Should they pull EQ, I would think that your score would be high enough for approval. Do you have any recent baddies? The Chase approval system seems to hate recent derogs, but a lot of members have been having good luck with getting Chase to approve their application on reconsideration.

However, with recon, don't be surprised if a second hard appears on your CRs.
