Has anyone received an automatic CLI since the credit crunch? If so, which card, how much and when was your last CLI.

Since Jan my auto CLIs are:

Target Visa: 1k to 5k

Cap1 MC: 3750 to 4250 (due to credit steps)

HSBC/DMB Discover: 1k to 1.5k

Travelocity MC: 2k to 3k

Macys store card: 1k to 2.5k

Since January-

Auto: Credit One by $150 for myself and $100 on Credit One for DW

Requested: Macys by $200 for DW and I.

No automatic credit increases--I have had to call for all mines--the cards I am really wanting increases on cant be done manually so just waiting ......

Citi CLI'd me from $6000 to $7500. Not too shabby.

I had an automatic increase on 2 cards in the past month:

WAMU - $850 - $1750

HSBC - $4,500 to $6,000

my credit score has been steadily climbing 10-20 points a month since December which may be helping.

That's great! What type of history did you have to lead to that increase? DW got the card via a pre-approval in September and was approved for $750. 9 months later, still at $750.

Discover went from $5200. to $6800.
Citi went from 3K to $4500.
BoA went from 13,100 to 13,900
BoA 2 went from $3600 to $6600. and then to $7100. And quite recently I requested a CLI to 13K and was given one to $11,700.
Chase went from 3K to $4500.

All with the exception of the one I stated was an auto CLI. For me most of the auto CLI's came when I either made a massive paydown on my card over a couple of months, or used it after not using it for a very long time, if ever.

WAMU(Providian) $1,000 to $9,700

Hard inq CLI

FNB $5,200 to $15,000

Wells Fargo started with 7500 in 2005 in Jan 2006 cli to 9k and Sept cli to 10,500 nothing since and never requested cli.

Lowes started with 1200 in 2004 requested cli May of this year to 10k

CU started with 10k in 2006 remains 10k today, never requested cli
