    <description>&lt;P&gt;So i noticed an unsual charge on my Discover and decided to call and before it was just a instant answer. Now its offering a menu, did they change this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;edit: Unsual charge figured out - i pumped gas and usually stations put a $1.00 charge for a hold....well this station decided to put a $75.00 hold. In my opinion thats a bit excessive and double what i pumped.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

There are some gas stations that put holds on your card up to ninety nine dollars&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

To avoid it in the future, go in and prepay if you are concerned about going over your CL. &amp;nbsp;If not, the auth usually drops off in 48-72 hours.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't think it's a bad practice as one have to see it from both perspectives. If you were the owner and then later find out that the card didn't went through. If I were a gas business owner, I would put at least from 50 to 80 to save those funds. I don't mind them doing that to me either because my CL 90% of the time are really good and I do not have to be concerned of reaching the maximum CL&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I called Disc earlier tonight and was also met with a menu and a long wait time to reach a CSR. I'm hoping this isn't a new norm now, as their amazing customer service is one of the few things that sets them apart. &amp;nbsp;It just might have been that way due to it being a Sunday night, perhaps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Are you calling the number on the back of your card? (1-800-347-3085)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is it asking for after you press 0? It may just want your account info so the CSR can help you faster.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
