Is this the normal 7-10 day message from Comenity and Crate and Barrel?

they have grown to big for themselves.... The backdoor number is no longer answered and you get voicemail... Last time I left a message I got a call over 2 weeks later and the lady that called me knew less than the usual ones.

I just called into the Crate and Barrel Comenity number and this girl repeatedly tells me they have no way to see status of application or a security department to transfer to at all!

I told her she clearly doesn't have the correct information at her job so I will need to speak to a supervisor because we can't argue when you don't have the correct knowledge to argue.

Supervisor looked into it and then transferred me over to security department (imagine that, a department the last girl said didn't exist!)

"Account Protection"

Spoke with a nice guy, I believe a few times before too He said since it was just done yesterday it wasn't even processed in the system...

I thanked him and we ended the call BUT I believe that is 98% declined with them but I don't see any credit pulls yet so just "maybe" I'm in that 2% that it truly hasn't been worked but since they are pretty automated I never understand the statement they ALWAYS give that the application "hasn't been worked in the system yet"

What the computers are as behind as your EO office?! jk

Crate and barrel is a nice fairly expensive store btw for those that don't know. I had their card and it was IIB

I got that from Comenity when I had EX on security freeze. I think it was AKC and Marathon I applied for. Even though they hard pulled EQ, the brilliant CSR told me they couldn't pull my credit because all 3 bureaus essentially talk to each other and the security freeze prevented that. Fortunately someone in EO had half a brain and approved them, but yeah I got those same messages before.

I want this card and West Elm. And I need Pottery Barn.

I had a dream about this card last year--completely out of no where.

Two days later while driving into SF I passed a Crate and Barrel delivery truck (first and only time doing so in my life).

Spooky.

Same thing happened to me. I just ended up with a card in the mail lol.
