Oh the nerve of lowes!

Well i applied for the lowes card maybe a week ago, and i was denied! Well i call back to recon after two previous trys and i asked the CSR if i could speak with someone else, she said sure but theyre just going to tell you the same thing! I said ok! Anyways the Supervisor i spoke with said the issue was with my telephone number, she told to me to apply in the store and i should get an approval!

Its crazy that they deny you on simple things as telephone...seem like they would contact you to verify then gladly approve you! Geesh!

Anyway i will apply tomorrow and let you all know!

Since this was a previous app, and i will apping again for the same card does that mean i will be evicted from the concorduser!

GEMB is just flat weird about phone numbers. Haven't I seen this same issue with Walmart cards? And it seems like they stick you with another hard when you figure out what the problem is and apply in the store. (Not positive I'm remembering that correctly, but I could swear I remember some irate posts on the subject.)

edit to add: Whoops, good luck on the recon! And on keeping your bed at the Center. I would think that a recon on a pre-admit application ought to be OK, but I'm not a member there --sorry!

He pops up every now and then. I think he's chugging along, doing his thing. In fact, I think I just saw one of his posts today!

I kind of miss his AmEx war. I admire that degree of stubbornness. I tend to say "whatever" after a few rounds!
