Has anyone STILL not gotten their NASA CC?

My second card was approved/funded and sent out (acording to CSR today), on the 25th of Sept. I have yet to receive it. Sad because I am going to be out of the country on Saturday for awhile. Oh well, looks like i'll have to cancel and request a new card?

Anyone else still not received theirs?

I do not have the NASA card, but my guess is they are back ordered due to the whole Home Depot mess. I have already been notified by Barclays, Chase and Cap One they are sending me replacement cards.

NASA is a small operation (in comparison to say Chase or Wells Fargo), so they are probably in the "back of the line" so to speak when it comes to printing of new cards (someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe there are several companies that print cards for all the banks/CUs).

That sucks that you will be out of town and not able to use it...

In the same boat, Slim. Another thread reported that NASA CSR admitted that they are behind due to influx in card approvals and Home Depot issue. 10-15 business days is more realistic according to that thread.

When I was approved the blurb on the screen told me to expect it within 14 business days.

Ahh well, it'll be nice to come home too! I wasn't even going to take it with me, I just wanted it to come before I left.

Thanks alot! I already have a higher limit CC from Nasa that I use everyday that I got in May. I just got this one when everyone else was getting their new ones so it's going straight to the SD!

this is very true....maybe 5-6 major companies print CC's nationwide. NASA would be at the bottom of their list when BoA, Chase, Citi, etc come calling for new cards

Good to know. Maybe the date the CSR's have that saying it was sent is actually the date it was sent to be printed. I could understand that.

Um, the big banks print their own cards. They don't use a vendor.

So NASA is in line with the likes of Patelco and DCU, not BofA. But I'm sure their existing customers new cards (Home Depot) take priority.

No, very few banks print their own cards anymore....no matter how big they are
