Does Amex honor sign up bonus?

Last week, I logged in and saw 10,000 bonus points credited towards my ED card. Today, I logged in and the bonus points disappeared.
Should I wait until the second statement cuts before contacting Amex?

We shall see what happens when i apply for EDP this weekened or early next week if i really do get 15k signup bonus. I guess i should do some screenshotting if i get approved.

Absolutely do this. Ever since they screwed me out of PRG and BCE bonuses I screenshot every bonus offer regardless of the lender.

Hmmm, I have the 50,000 for $5000 spent. I didn't take a screenshot but I might have the mailed offer letter.

Barclaycard is so fast crediting my account. I thought Amex was the same.

They may be trying to screw the Wife out of her PRG bonus. mine posted for the ED and PRG already after meeting spend but not for her.

Sorry to thread jack, but I thought you don't get bonuses on additional cards if you're already a member? Can someone explain this to me, because I do plan on applying for another Amex in January..

It's per card, per life time. So you can still get bonus on PRG, then get a bonus on Delta Gold for example. You just can't close those cards, re-apply and get the bonus again.

It's per card, per life time. So you can still get bonus on PRG, then get a bonus on Delta Gold for example. You just can't close those cards, re-apply and get the bonus again.

I have heard different stories about what their one card per life time policy is. I have heard it can be one card per type like you will get one signup bonus for charge and one signup bonus for revolver per lifetime. I don't really know what the right answer is.

I apped for PRG with the 25k sign up bonus and it never showed up. Had AMEX investigate twice and they refused to give me the bonus. sent a screen shot of app page and they say my app was only for first year annual fee waived.

i did get the bonus on personal and biz SPG.

i am intrigued to see what will happen when i app for EDP, I hope they aren't going to nix my signup bonus because i apped for an BCP last year.

It will be the true test later this week i pushed payement to my freedom account, once i pull my ex report and it shows zero for recent balance. I will see what happens with amex and my edp app. I hope they won't put up an major fuss since its the same offer as public offer going around, so i am not getting anything all that special.

For what it's worth, I've been able to get Hilton Surpass and Delta Platinum bonuses this year (of note I was granted Delta Gold bonus 14 months prior to Delta Platinum).

we will see what happens , i think i applied for BCP before they instituited this new once per life time signup bonus, so technically i don't BCP app should count, but i am sure amex doesn't care about that.
