If you do 20 transactions per month, you get a minimum of 1.2MR per transaction. That is a minimum of 2%, compared to the BCE 1% on non-category purchases. However, this relies on you redeeming MR via travel partners which may not be for everyone. But if rewards are important, the Sallie Mae always wins, so if possible get that and the Everyday. You don't need to use the Everyday any time soon, it just sets your member since date, has no fee etc.

+1. The ED is a great free card. 20 transactions is easier than you would think. I have never had a billing period where I haven't received the bonus. And the value of the points is greater than the percent cash back you would get with BCE.
