amex 61 day and other apps.

Well gang just got my Amex. Then suddenly got pre qual in m mail for chase sapphire. I'm itching to app but I don't want anything to hurt my chances for 3x cli. Especially sine b3 said he did not get after he apped for more cards. Is Amex being like barclays. Should I wait until 61 days Then pull trigger on csp?any help please. Taxi.

Apping for a card did not affect my 61 day CLI with AMEX on my BCP. I'll let you know tomorrow on my SPG card....

It doesn't hurt to wait two months and apply for CSP , that card will still be there in two months.

I had two new accounts added after my AMEX and I was approved for the full amount of my 3x 61 day CLI

normally amex 3x is based on an older sp. but not always. So if you got the new card now but they use a pull from yesterday then your good

Well there is expecting it to happen (we all do) and then what actually happens. Only time will tell.

AFter hearing b335. i will just wait. no need to give them extra reason. not give my cli. even if i expect to get it.

My one and only Amex 61 day CLI happened when i didn't apply to new accts. It was a tough 61 days but it worked. I think you made the right decision to wait, CSP will still be there.
