topic Citi DC: Anyone get the full 2% without paying? in Credit Cards

I logged into my Citi account today and it appears that they've credited my rewards account for the full 2%, even though I have NOT made a payment yet. Has anyone else noticed this on their account?

Well, a payment is showing that it got credited to that account, otherwise the eligible payments would be 0.

It should reflect 0. It appears to be a problem with the tracker, which resulted in me getting the 2% upon purchase. I wondered if others are experiencing the same glitch.

Mine displays correctly. Wouldn't be surprised if it is a bug with the tracker and that it gets corrected eventually.

My detailed tracker finally showed up with numbers. What I think happened is that they took my last payment for the statement generated when my card was still a TYP. I PCed to DC and then paid that statement. So they do have a payment on file, just not for charges made after my card was converted. I suppose it will straighten out soon.

ETA: No free purchases unfortunately. I still have a balance.

Do I need to wait for a statement to generate before I make a payment in order to get my CB?

Now if you need to wait 2 statements to get the full CB, I'm unsure.
