Thinking about closing some more cards

Not really sure if I even need the Walmart store card anymore for example since I already get a free Fico with both Barclays and Discover for TU and I know for sure that I want to close my Green the end of the year so I can get a backdated BCE. I also don't want to have too many accounts because recently Chase thought I had sufficient credit from them and that's been making me think about this a lot more as well as laying low for a couple of months. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Your score only need go up for them to say you need more credit, lol.

Either way i think the usefulness of the Walmart card has worn out its welcome but I will keep my other Sync accounts open.

I would close the green , the ED has it beat in almost every way other then NPSL. ED has no af that should make up for it I think.

I would close my Green earlier but don't know what affect it would have on my internal score with Amex.

I can't say that. Now you can refresh your fico daily with Wally. Just for that alone it's a keeper.

Wait, really? I had no idea.

That makes my choice a lot easier then. I'm closing the Amex Green for now and I think my Chase Amazon app denial had a lot more to do with me not waiting 30 days after my last HP with Chase to apply for that card though just in case, I still wanted to trim my number of cards a bit.

The only reason i can see keeping W**M*** open is for free cash advance at register. But that requires going in. Ive thought about closing mine recently.
