Which one should I get? WHich ones do you feel offers more?

It depends what your needs are. Do you ever stay at the Ritz? I you stay there a lot then it is a beneficial card to you. If you travel a lot but do not stay ritz then platinum will probably be better.

The Ritz Carlton certainly feels better. I ran into a friend that has one and it actually was pretty substantial.

If we are talking about actual card. Physically the Ritz is pure metal and very heavy compared to any other card, which is a plus. It does get old after a while of people telling you what you already know (that it is heavy)

The PRG is for rewards, the platinum is for benefits.

Platinum is a straight 1 point per dollar spent (2 points on purchases through amex travel) just like the green and regular gold card. PRG earns 3x on airlines, 2x on gas and on supermarkets, as well as the 2x on purchases through amex travel.

The benefit is, You pay your $175 AF and like it!

Useful benefits of Ritz: 1) $300 airline incidental credit - used it for award ticketing fees for UA Gobal First Class tickets

3) Lounge Club passes - unlimited guests and AU's get their own lounge cards (less lounges in program but Plats Priority Pass makes you pay for
