i really like the amex everyday card but...

Really wish it looked more like a chase sapphire. Not a big deal since the looks of the card don't influence the features but the card looks too plain for me.

Either way a great card for me just too plain looking.

I just got one and found it surprisingly hard to get 20 transactions on, given I was using other cards. Guess you really do need to make it (and especially EDP) your default card, unless you like buying 50c amazon gift cards etc!

Yeah I had 15 charges this cycle so its hard to get tons of transactions on it.

I think it's crazy that the look of the card can influence your decisions but I'll be honest I've had times when I don't pull out a card when paying with a group of friends if I think it looks dumb. It may not look as sleek as a CSP, but it's better than most.

Yes looks of the card definitely influences how much you use it. That is why a lot of companies offer different designs in order to get you to spend more.

But you are using it as a main card, right? For my grocery shopping, putting most of it on BC (7% at WF) + trying to put just enough on BCE to get $25 to redeem.

It isn't either for me at ANY Sam's. I was saying that in order to get 5% at Sam's I have to buy WM GC's at WallyWorld with my SM.
