Tossing around Closing CSP so moved CL!

My partner has a Freedom, CSP and a Slate (currently being used for BT)

With all the changes coming soon to CSP and we don't really use it anyway started debating closing it but didn't want to be to rash with my thinking so for now I took it out of my partners wallet and gave him is Freedom Sigi and moved all but $5k from CSP to Freedom.

I think we have until March 2015 before CSP AF comes up so can probably sit on it until then.

Now Freedom is $20,500

CSP $5,000

Slate $17,000

I got one for the bonus points, but will cancel before the fee is posted as I dont really care about the metal heavy card thing. But, I will move my credit line to my freedom before I close.

nope it's okay because I have a hard time keeping up with them too but I think latest was scrapping 2x dining.

Those have been just rumors , the csp hate has been pretty strong recently. I don't know if its just people appling for CSP for the 480 cash or what. I want to see what is going on with korean air/ skyteam access with UR points before i would start closing all chase cards.

Alright so I believe this all may be speculations. I called Chase since chopping 2x on dining is a very serious matter and the CSR told me that they won't be removing any travel and dining point bonuses but instead are removing the extra point per dollar when booking travel through UR portal. You will still receive 2x on travel though. The 7% annual dividend was obviously removed but replaced with primary rental coverage. I really hope they don't remove those bonuses on the CSP.
