Much better looking, but I am not a fan of the colors on credit cards... I wish they would make them all the "silver" color on cards.

It is slightly better. Wonder if the world elite will change too?

All I know is a few members here had capital one quicksilver cards pre chip era, and they were flat without raised numbers, and it was either a world or world elite logo on the front. Very very schmexy and beautimous!

Agreed. The silver on my WEMCs are really sleek. Colors I'm assuming are reserved for the rest.

I agree the silver is nicer but then how would you distinguish a WEMC from a standard MC?

I don't like it. I prefer the classic look. But I also prefer "classic coke"

I don't like it either. I like the classic look. Take it back to the '68 look.

Thanks for sharing OP! I had no clue they were updating the logo, I dont really like the new look, but then again I dont like a lot of things lol.

me too. I cant find any pics for some reason. I wonder if those folks still have that once their cards were chipped and numbers raised if the logo stuck. Was it for WMC or WEMC?

I really kind of like it ! I like that the name is lower case and dropped below.

I would like it .. if they did different colors ! Maybe Silver and Gold!

Or make the Red & Yellow more metal looking!

I hope we can all change our MC's !

The earliest date is 9/30/16 and yeah the new logo looks good. I was curious how cards would look with the new logo, so created this to provide a visual. From the sample card shown on a business news channel regarding the change it looks like a matte logo and not foil silver stamped like the current one. I think most issuers will take the opportunity to redesign cards too, so we can expect some new stuff later this year.

Very Very nice ... I love the way teh lower case words under the 2 overlapping circles.

Woo Hoo I can't wait... Now maybe Visa will do something kewl !

Looking at these samples the logo is kind of growing on me

I wonder when they will start rolling out the new card's, I am assuming every bank will adopt the changes at different rates.

I also assume that we won't get a card with the new design until our current cards expire.
