I have my AMEX charge card (the green one) and I just put $1000 on it. I'm wondering how that's going to affect my FICO score, if at all, before i get the chance to pay it off.

anyone know?

In my experience, as long as this card is not reporting as credit card: revolving terms it will not factor in FICO util% calculations. This is how my Amex Gold card reports on all three bureaus

EQ: other open account; this is alright and being reported like this ensures it won't factor in util% calculations

EX: charge account with terms = 1 month, again doesn't factor in util% calculations (finally EX got this reporting accurately, I nearly sued them)

TU: same as EQ
