I received an email alert about a score update . I have been waiting on this alert for a month now so I can go apply for a mortgage . It's for transunion updating my 7000 I just paid off . Anyway when I went to check the score update it is exactly the same score . Anyone know why this may have happened ? Does it take time to update the score after the alert ? That's my hope !

Hi TxGal. My guess is that you have the myFICO Ultimate 3B product. You'll see here that with that particular product you get the full 3B report with all your scores once every 90 days -- that includes the mortgage scores. The only scores that update more often than that are the FICO 8 Classic scores. These are not your mortgage scores.

http://www.myfico.com/products/ultimate-three-bureau-credit-report/

The word "quarterly" at the top means every 90 days.

There's a different package that gives you your scores every 30 days, which typically costs $40/mo. You might be able to call customer service and ask if you can cancel your current product and switch you to that. Before you do that, be sure to save as PDFs (or print them out) any of your past 3B reports as well as a screenshot of your current FICO 8 scores. You may lose all your past history when you switch to the new product.
