It just means that it's not using live pull data. I'm fairly confident in saying that CCT uses the most recent data at the moment you do a pull. I know nothing about myFICO, but perhaps they are using slightly older data at times when they produce their scores.

Just because a score is presented at a certain time doesn't necessarily mean it was generated at that moment. A perfect example of this is Discover. They usually provide me with a new score on the 4th or so of each month, but the date of the data used for the score that's presented to me on the 4th is usually the 27th-29th, meaning it's roughly a week old. If I pull my scores on the 4th from CCT, I know that the scores I'm getting are based on data from the 4th... so if something has changed in the last few days it will be reflected in my CCT score, but not necessarily the score I see presented to me on the same day from Discover.

I pulled my credit reports on 6/1/17 from Myfico and Credit check total. All my scores are the same except Equifax. Which one is more accurate?

Shouldnt they be the same if I pulled them on the same date and they are both Fico 8 scores?

Review both reports' data and see if one is old data -- balance reported, account age, inquiries count, etc.

CCT tends to be more recent and accurate for me than MyFico. My MyFico alerts can be over a week old by the time I get them.

But if someone doesn't have a myfico subscription account of any kind why would myfico have older stored data on someone? I can understand if someone is signed up to receive monthly scores from somewhere and they haven't updated yet for the month..Your explanation makes sense just asking in general

I don't know the answer to that, as I know nothing about how myFICO works. Perhaps others can chime in. I guess an equally acceptable question would be why does Discover then, for example, post scores a week later than the date that the scores were generated on? Or, are they being posted right away just using week-old data? No way to know for sure, I suppose.

They're both accurate. "Up to date" is the term we're looking for.

I have no experience with CCT, but I've had myFICO for about three months. I've noticed that alerts lag. But when the 3B reports are pulled, they have the most recent information available. I recently had an alert fly in giving me information that was already reflected on the 3B report that was generated a couple of days previously.

I've been using MyFICO for over a year and CCT for about 6 months. I'd agree that CCT tends to use more recent scores.

Equifax in particular seems to lag on myFICO, it hasn't updated since April 7th while EX and TU have each updated in the last week. I still prefer the overall usability of myFICO.

More alerts on CCT this morning. Still basically nothing from MyFico for a week. Pretty frustrating. Even free monitoring sites are fast. WalletHub is the fastest ever, but it's a FAKO score.

You can tell how up to date you are by looking at reports. As an example, it's pretty easy to know if your recent AMEX payment is included or not. Because myFICO provides score updates without generating a new report, you have to rely on the alert and maybe look at your report via another service. And you have to realize that the score change may or may not be tied to the alert.

My biggest annoyance with WalletHub is its use of relative dates (today, yesterday, six days ago, etc.). To top it off, it always says that information was last updated "today." Relative dates have their time and place, but they can't be used for everything. I'd submit that something like a credit reporting service should probably rely completely on calendar dating.

Good point on WH and how they state when the data was last updated. "Earlier today" isn't concrete enough for me. I almost always do my CCT pulls late in the day rather than mid-day because I know if an update happened during the day it will be reflected in my pull, not possibly missed. It would be nice if there were time stamps on those things for sure.
