FREE FICO report after 2nd BBR denial?

Can I get a free FICO score everytime I get denied for a cc or any other type of loan? I know I was denied because of BOA only limiting me to 1 card at the time of application. For some reason getting a report that way is never mentioned in this forum so I wonder if there's a reason for that.

You should have gotten the score with the denial if it's due to credit. I think the credit bureaus only give you an actual report.

You can get a credit REPORT with a denial/AA, but not necessarily a score unless the lender provided it with their letter.

A denial, by law, allows you to request the report pulled that you were denied over. That's about it, though.

If I get denied, I always call and request my PAPER report sent to me, not the online one. I like paper reports better.

Getting free credit reports upon denial was an awesome thing to grab.... back in the day, when about the only way to get a free report was once per year through ACR. Now there are tons of ways to get free reports, so I wonder if it makes that big of a difference in most people's lives now.

All I know is that paper reports cost the CRAs money, and if we all demanded paper reports with every denial or AA letter, maybe we could bankrupt them, lol.

I wonder if I can get free paper reports when a CLI is denied by mail. Oh man, those soft pull love buttons are going to help me put one of the big CRAs in the dirt pile!

I do this thanks to Discover mail denials.

They'll just charge more for the rest of the reports, and the cost will get passed on to you through fees. They will always find a way to pass the cost on to you.
